Board of Directors

At the first BOD meeting in January, the members elected among themselves the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and Secretary; the remainder were appointed to their respective area. They are as follows:

Though the Minutes of the BOD are posted, in case you missed it, the BOD is planning to replace the metal folding chairs with black steel tube framed upholstered chairs. Fifty were purchased and are in use. The plan is that another hundred be purchased when funds are available.
In another area of business there is a need for a church member to be the lay delegate for the Michigan District Convention that will be held in Ann Arbor, June 24-27.

The Board of Elders serving this year are as follows:

Included with the business conducted with the Board of Elders was the transfer of membership for the Rolfe family, DeBoer family, and Eric Hecksel family to Grace, Coopersville. Next Elders meeting – Feb. 20, 6:00 p.m

St. Luke operates under a Board of Directors’ constitution. The BOD meets monthly and posts its minutes on the bulletin board in the church fellowship hall. Currently the BOD is chaired by Dennis Keift and Vice-chairman Gale McMitt. The BOD presents a nomination slate for elections along with a budget proposal for the Church Voters’ Meeting in December. The new budget and newly elected Board members begins on January 1 of the new year.
