Knitting Ministry
Ministries can take place in very simple and ordinary ways. In the
church a knitting/crocheting ministry is in place. Anyone interested
is more than invited to be a part of this ministry and fellowship
with one other while working on knitting projects.
Even if you do not know how to knit, someone will be glad to
instruct and teach you. The group gathers a couple of times per
month. Contact Teresa R. or Jane K. for information.
Also, the Knitting ministry assisted in a special blanket drive for
the Junior Miss Coopersville Blanket Drive. The knitters made 8
blankets to add to the nearly 300 that were taken to DeVos
Children’s hospital for distribution. A thank-you is posted on the
church bulletin board.
Mite Boxes!
When you put your loose change into the box know that you are
reaching out with love in bringing Jesus to others through the LWML
mission and ministry. Each quarter (March, June, September,
December) we have a collection of the Mite Boxes in our worship
service.
